Travelers

Three young men, miles from home when disaster hits. With little in the way of supplies, the skills and knowledge they’ve been taught their entire lives will be put to the ultimate test as they face a society quickly crumbling around them.

What follows are unedited chapters of a work in progress. There may very well be typos, grammatical errors, and other nonsense along the way. But, being that you’re not paying to read it, you really shouldn’t complain.

Be forewarned–there is very strong language as well as violence in this tale. Perhaps a naked boob or two as well, but we haven’t gotten quite that far yet. If you are easily offended by words often overheard in taverns or on the docks, you may want to take a pass on this story. If you are not at all comfortable reading about fistfights, gun play, noses being smashed and broken glass inflicting cuts, you’ll probably want to move along.

There will also be a fair amount of survival lore scattered throughout the story.  If you can put up with the cussing and the occasional violent encounter, you just might learn a thing or two.

New chapters will be posted as they are completed. That means there’s no set schedule, no timeline, no deadlines. I’ll post ’em as they get done, that’s the only promise I can make.

Want to be sure you know when new chapters are posted? Friend or follow us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or (and really, this is your best option, to be honest) sign up for our weekly newsletter, The Survival Weekly Dispatch.

If you feel utterly compelled to share your opinion on the story, shoot an email to Jim@SurvivalWeekly.com.

Oh, I should probably add that this entire thing is under copyright and is owned entirely by me.  While I’d encourage you to pass around to family and friends the link to this page, don’t be an ass and just start copying and pasting the content wherever you please.  That’s not just unseemly and rude, it is a violation of copyright, something I don’t take lightly.
