Thank you

Posted on: March 22, 2013

I’d like to thank everyone that has followed me on this fictional journey.  There are disaster outs there, waiting to happen, some not nearly as bad as what happened here, some worse.  Will they happen? We don’t know, that’s why it’s called being prepared …for the unexpected, or even the expected.  I do hope you, the reader, have learned something, taken a bit of information and made it your own.  That’s why I wrote this.

  1. Thanks, Deborah! Your Journal gave me a lot to think about, and has certainly motivated me to do a LOT more preparing for disasters. Congrats on writing an educational and entertaining story!

  2. Thank you for a very entertaining read! It was far more realistic than some survival fiction I’ve read over the years and full of usefull info too. Hopefully it will cause some people to wake up and start prepping themselves.

  3. Thank you for writing this. It certainly gave me a chance to think about the “what ifs”. And you write very well. I do hope you’ll get it published at some point.

  4. Thanks so much for this journal. I really enjoyed every entry. It sure gave me
more ideas of what I need to stock up on. I would love to see you write a novel. I have read a lot of TEOTWAWKI novels, and so many of them are really badly written, or at the most so-so. This journal shows you have the writing talent that is so often missing in these books. Believe me if you ever do write a novel, I will be first in line to buy it!

  5. No, Deborah, THANK YOU! Loved the tale, kept me on pins and needles every day waiting for the next page! Please continue, maybe in the fall? Or start a new story, either way, we will be waiting! Perhaps you could make “the journal” into a paper type novel? I’m sure a lot of us here would buy it to read it over and over…

  6. my prepper friend from Moose Creek! thank you, my friend… what time are you serving? 😀

  7. Outstanding. Brought to the forefront some of the normal ‘stuff’ and then items that I never thought about. Good reading and should be mandatory reading for ALL.

  9. Thank you Deborah. Very thought provoking. I think anyone that has followed this, would have to have come to the end with a greater insight of the possibilities of what might in store for us. Even a few pointers on how to handle it.

  10. Are you going to publish this? If not, can we get a pdf. I would like to share it but browsing page to page is a pain.
