After half the town died during a flu outbreak, Allexa Smeth was a lost soul. Colonel James Andrews knew what was needed to pull her out of the deep hole of depression she was in, and suggested a road trip. They set out to find the rift that broke the Upper Peninsula in half during a 10.9 earthquake. Finding the colonel’s squad was at the top of the agenda, but they didn’t know it would mean getting into more than they bargained for and possibly more than they could handle.
Pam – I’m glad you enjoyed the book! #5 won’t be out until April and will be from a different point of view.
Just finished the 4th book, Raging Tide, and am looking forward to #5! I’ve really been enjoying the series and the format. It’s very conversational and I have picked up quite a few hints that I’ve incorporated into my own basic prepping. Would love to meet you some day! (Troll from under the Bridge-Flint). 🙂

I’ve already started on #5. I wasn’t going to until the fall, but I just couldn’t help myself. LOL.

I am anxiously awaiting the 4th book. Will it be available through Amazon Kindle as well as the others were. I couldn’t stop reading them when I started, read ‘the cracked earth first and then had to go back and purchase the other two books hoping you would have more. Cudos to you and keep up the writing this winter. An ADMIRING reader and hopefully friend. No, I don’t do social networks so will have to communicate via comments and email if we can establish a dialogue there.
