His first book, Prepper’s Home Defense, spent several years as the #1 bestselling book on Amazon in the home security category. His second book, The Prepper’s Complete Book of Disaster Readiness, has sold thousands of copies as well. Prepper’s Long-Term Survival Guide, his third and most popular book, has been extremely successful as well.

He has been a speaker at events such as the 2013 Living Ready Expo in Atlanta, Georgia and the 2011 Survival & Preparedness Expo held in Dallas, Texas, as well as leading smaller classroom size lessons in prepping. Jim’s session at the 2014 Survival Summit was one of the top three most popular classes offered, with around 8,000 people tuning in to his presentation. His classes at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in Custer, Wisconsin have been very popular as well.
