Unfortunately, the subject is also filled with myths and half-truths, with tons of truly ridiculous information about it floating around online and elsewhere. In this class, we’re going to take a practical, down to earth look at emergency evacuation. What it means, what it doesn’t mean, and how to prepare for it.

We’re going to discuss in detail what should be in a bug out bag (BOB), common mistakes often made when assembling a BOB, and frequently forgotten items. Live class attendees are encouraged to bring their own bug out bags to the class. For our online version students are encouraged to post in the discussion forum for feedback from the instructor.
